My Weird Life
Just a little introductory page with a sample of the kind of totally random scenes that catch my eye. New to this site, still trying to figure it out.. I could probably benefit from the tools Adobe Lightroom provides for managing and categorizing large collections of image files but Lightroom gives me a migraine.
I have been doing portraiture off and on for 35 years, I've worked in photography related fields since I was a teen, and I have a recent Associate of Applied Science in Commercial Photography. I like to draw and paint and often try to incorporate art into my photography.
I love flowers, fountains, festivals and concerts. Sunsets, urban exploring, long exposures, light painting, motorcycles, tattoos, bonfires, death and rot and destruction, there is beauty to be found amongst the ruins. I miss film and darkrooms and the smell of fixer but it sure is nice not to be limited to the number of frames on a roll
